When it comes to 3D art, Howie is a beast. He has an enormous passion for Sci-Fi art and its blatantly obvious in every piece that he shows. I’ve never worked with a person whose finished work even compares. With a quality standard this high you would expect that these pieces take forever, but Howie shines in procedural texture and shader generation making his few hours of work go far above and beyond what I thought was possible. If it was up to me, I’d use Howie’s excessive talent and experience to push every project I work on to the next level.

Howie is a 3D tech sponge. When Howie is not working on projects assigned to him at Buzz Monkey he spends nearly every other waking hour developing processes and techniques for creating assets in every engine imaginable. I’ve seen him very quickly pick up a myriad of toolchains and engines, including but not limited to Unreal Tech, Crytek, The Infernal Engine as well as the varied array of proprietary toolchains that we use in-house. He is as gifted when learning new 3D packages as well. If I need to know how to do something specific in Max, Maya or XSI I ask Howie and he never fails to deliver the goods.
Howie also possesses a great eye for aesthetics and an almost intuitive knack for using his vast skill set to achieve what is needed for the look-and-feel of the task at hand. I would recommend Howie without hesitation. He would be a great addition to any team.

I have worked with Howard for almost seven years and I can easily say that I have learned as much from him as anyone else in this industry. He has always been the go to man when it comes to anything CG related on every project that I have worked with him on.
